How to change your notepad into personal diary

There is a simple feature in Note pad that can make it work like a personal diary for you.
Here is how to go about it ::--

1.Firstly open a blank Notepad file or notepad editor.

2. Now write .LOG as the first line in the file, then press enter. Now save the file and close it.

3.Open the notepad file now and you will find that the current date and time has been appended(put) at the end and the cursor is in the next line.

4. Type your notes and then save and close the file.

5. Each time you open the notepad notebook, Notepad repeats the process,that is it appends the date and time to the end of the file and places the cursor below it.

This way you can keep track of all your entries,you can easily monitor which article you wrote when.
This can work very much like a personal diary.

(iv)If you have noticed in last example what i did? i used hyphen (-) instead of underscore (_) because hyphen is assumed as space but under scores are not.
(v) There is also some limit on how many concatenating words words should be there , we should not use very short or very long page naming because short names are not clear about there meaning and unnecessary long name looks like spam. So there should be moderate names up to 2-3 hyphens.
(vi) very important when you are trying to optimize your website you needs to daily update your website but do not copy paste contents from other sites, other wise search engines will spam your site and your search engine ranking will be down. Try two write unique content
or use synonyms to modify the content before publishing on your site.

Inter-piconet communication:

To participate on a piconet it needs the master’s identity and the clock offset.
While leaving the piconet it informs the master
The master can also multiplex as slave on another piconet. But all traffic in its piconet will spended in its absence.

how to trace a gtalk invisible frnd

some very simple steps to trace your gtalk invisible friend:-

1. login to gtalk using your google id.
2. go to IM window of user you want to trace for invisible.
3. you will see a drop-down list on right top side,click on it.
4. click on "go off the record".
5. now give any message.
6. if the "xyz@gmail.com is offline and can't receive messages right now" msg appears in red color it means ur frnd is really offline.
7. if no msg comes means ur frnd is online and invisible for all.

NOTE:-
There is no way to share/send a file to a invisible frnd using gtalk whether he want to receive it from you. He will need to be visible to receive these files.

socket programming basics in 'C'

Socket:
a socket is a simple program that enables communication b/w two different computers or with in a computer itself .each socket has a name except nameless socket .

Types of socket :
1.Nameless socket or local socket or unix domain socket :
they do not hv any addrss becoz they connect wid in m/c itself
uses AF_LOCAL prefix
A-> address
F->family
Function used: socketpair()
2.Internet domain socket :used for process running on multiple computers
uses PF_INET macro
P->protocol
F->family
Function used: socket()
FOR EXAMPLE:
Functio and header file used for creating a nameless socket:

Log trick !! make your Notepad a diary !!

Sometimes we want to insert current data and time, whenever we open the file in the notepad.

If you are a lazy person like me, who don’t like to press F5 whenever you open a notepad.

Then here is a trick to avoid this. Just add a .LOG in the first line of your text file and close it.

Whenever you open the file with that text in the first line in the notepad, it will insert the current date and time at the end of the file.

You can start entering your text after that.

WHY?
The reason this happens:In notepad, any other 4-3-3-5 letter word combo will have the same results.It is all to do with a limitation in Windows. Text files containing Unicode UTF-16-encoded

1) Unicode are supposed to start with a "Byte-Order Mark" (BOM), which is a two-byte flag that tells a reader how the following UTF-16 data is encoded.1) You are saving to 8-bit Extended ASCII (Look at the Save As / Encoding format)

2) You are reading from 16-bit UNICODE (You guessed it, look at the Save As / Encoding format)This is why the 18 8-bit characters are being displayed as 9 (obviously not supported by your codepage) 16-bit UNICODE characters
